It is my pleasure to present the Little Company of Mary Foundation Chair’s Report for 2025/2026.
This last year
I wish to begin by acknowledging our hard-working and dedicated staff, Pauline, Nicola, Janine, Colin, and Cathie, for their continued support of the residents and the LCM Foundation and the joie de vivre you bring to your work – thank you.
Our tenants’ homes and the community centre are very well looked after due to their collective efforts.
Thank you also to my colleagues, Rebecca Sparrow as Deputy Chair, Phil Clearwater, Kerry Watson and Sister Raye Boyle for their work over this last year.
This next year
As of the 14th of September 2026, the Little Company of Mary – New Zealand will have a new corporate trustee and we look forward to developing a warm and constructive relationship with them.
The Mission and Ministry of Venerable Mary Potter, as lived out by the LCM Sisters, continues. The call to do this work remains. Providing affordable housing for older people, fostering community and ameliorating loneliness will remain our collective mission.
Ka mua, ka muri. We walk backwards, into the future.
