TRUSTEE VACANCY

The Little Company of Mary Foundation Trust Board (LCM Foundation) is looking for a new trustee to help with the delivery and advancement of its mission and ministry in the Christchurch area.

Mission and ministry

Continuing the Little Company of Mary’s (LCM’S) mission to relieve poverty through the provision of affordable rental housing for qualifying independent seniors; access to Community Centre facilities; and services to reduce the loneliness and isolation of older people.

Qualities, experience, qualifications and skills sought

Key to this role is the desire to make a positive difference to the quality of life of older people, particularly those of limited means or those who may be lonely or isolated.

Applications from suitably qualified individuals with experience in the following areas would be welcomed:

• Chartered Accountancy
• Property Management
• Financial Analysis and Reporting

Commitment required from Trustees

The LCM Foundation meets eleven times per year, generally in person, at the Mary Potter Community Centre, St Albans, Christchurch.  There are occasional working group meetings and other tasks completed between Board meetings.
